The scaling ladder · Stage 03

Ramp-up.
Proven at rate.

Pilot-scale campaigns that prove the line before you commit to series — yield and cell-to-cell consistency demonstrated at rate, on the exact lines that carry into full production.

Ramp-up answers the question series can’t afford to get wrong: does it hold at rate? We prove yield and consistency at pilot scale — up to ~30 MWh a year — before a single series commitment is made.

What happens here

Prove the line, not just the cell.

A cell that passes qualification and a line that holds it at rate are two different guarantees. Ramp-up delivers the second. Software-supported pilot campaigns on modular minienvironment lines push toward roughly 30 MWh per year while the process window is locked in and the failure modes are found on our floor, not yours.

What you get is demonstrated yield and cell-to-cell consistency at rate — the evidence a program needs before it underwrites a series volume.

  • Yield demonstrated at pilot rate
  • Cell-to-cell consistency proven
  • Software-supported process control
  • The exact lines that carry to series
How you move up

The same modular lines carry into series.

There is no rebuild between ramp-up and series. The minienvironment lines that prove the process are the lines that run it — reconfigured between campaigns in days, not months. That is what lets a program scale volume without re-opening cost, schedule and qualification risk.

You move up when the pilot line proves yield and consistency at rate.
